Having trouble accessing an e-resource?

Answer

If you experience trouble accessing an electronic resource, you may find assistance from library staff through our live chat feature or through our Ask A Librarian link. You should be prepared with the following information:

Where are you?

- on-campus
- off-campus

Describe your problem in as much detail as possible:

- Include any error messages and/or tell what happens when you get stopped - e.g., are you prompted for a password?
- How are you accessing the resource (e.g. search, citation finder, Library homepage, etc.)?
- What is the title of the resource? (Educational Researcher, etc.)

Technical details

-What operating system are you using? (e.g.: Windows, Mac OS X, etc.)

-What browser(s) are you using? (e.g.: Chrome, Firefox, etc.)

If you encounter a problem accessing an e-resource available through Columbia University Libraries, use the Libraries' E-Resource Problem Report Form to ask that the issue be addressed.
